Lexington Law Reviews

Your entire life (if you want to obtain a loan or mortgage) revolves around one thing: credit. A good credit report can allow you to qualify for a mortgage a loan, but a bad credit report can cause you to feel like you’re trapped.

Bad credit may be your fault, or it can occur for other reasons.

Fraud and errors can cause your credit to tank, and neither are going to erase themselves from your report. This is where Lexington Law comes in.

What is Lexington Law?

Lexington Law

Lexington Law is a company that works on your behalf to repair your credit. The company operates in most states, but there are a few exceptions. When you work with the company, you’ll quickly notice that they offer a wide range of tasks all designed to repair your credit.

If you are the victim of fraud or errors, the company will push for credit agencies to fix the issue so that your report is fair and accurate.

And if you’re living in Utah or Arizona, the company also offers a wide range of legal services.

How Does It Work?

Lexington Law takes on the complete burden of you being able to repair your credit. You’re leaving your credit in the company’s hands, and while the firm does provide other legal services, their online services are what they’re best known for by clients.

You can start working with the company as a client who needs credit repair.

It’s all done online.

The process is pretty straightforward, and Lexington will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Credit report analysis. The legal team working on your behalf will request your credit report using a soft inquiry. This is a report that will not have a negative impact on your credit, and it will help the firm determine:
    • Negative items on your report that are questionable
    • Items that are deemed “unfair”
    • Errors that may have been made
    • Items that may be unsubstantial for legal reasons
  • You can challenge all items on your credit report, but it’s a time-consuming process which must be handled appropriately.

Lexington Law creates a plan of action which will be the cornerstone or correcting your credit. The company will reach out to all of the companies and lenders on your behalf. This is where you’ll sign a document that allows the company to work on your behalf.

They will challenge any items on the report that are inaccurate and work to have items removed.

  • Escalation. Sometimes, there will be items that will require escalation. These credit items will often be errors, or they may be made fraudulently. The company will challenge these items and fight for your credit rights.

Lexington Law is a law firm, and the attorneys have all had experience handling lender errors and issues on credit reports. You have a team of lawyers on your side, and they’ll help remove all of these questionable items from your credit report.

But if you’re responsible for your poor score, the company will also be able to help through their analysis and mentoring program.

The program is offered 24/7 online, and what it does is allow you to be able to:

  • Analyze your credit score at any time
  • Follow resources that will help you achieve your credit goals

All of this is part of the Lexington package. Thousands of consumers have been able to turn their credit report around with the help of Lexington. But everyone is different. Your credit score may be damaged for a variety of reasons, and in this case, you may need a higher service tier than the Concord Standard.

How Much Does Lexington Law Cost?

You shouldn’t have to pay the same rate as someone who has had their identity stolen if all you have is one or two errors on your credit report. Lexington has multiple service tiers that are designed to help you with the key areas of your report that matter the most.

Each tier has its own pricing, and the pricing is as follows:

Concord Standard

The standard tier is $89.95 per month, and this is the tier that focuses on two main things:

  • Fairness
  • Accuracy

The firm will work to dispute items and challenge them. Basic bureau challenges and creditor interventions will take place in this tier.

Concord Premier

The most common tier, the Concord Premier will cost $109.95 per month and includes everything that the standard tier includes, along with:

  • Alerts from TransUnion
  • ReportWatch
  • Score analysis
  • InquiryAssist

When you have alerts, you’re able to take full control over any future issues with your report. You’ll be able to receive alerts and begin challenging any issues that arise as they happen. It’s a great tier for anyone that has had questionable items appear on their credit report that they would like to repair.

You’ll also have access to a monthly credit score analysis, plus assistance if any items show up on your report that will be damaging.

Premier Plus

Premier Plus combines everything from the other previous tiers and adds a lot more for $129.95 per month. You’ll find that the highest tier is for those that have had severely damaged credit or may have had their identity stolen.

When you choose this tier, you’ll also receive the following services on top of everything else in the previous tiers:

  • Cease and desist letters that are sent out on your behalf
  • Personal finance tools to help you get your credit under control
  • Identity protection to ensure that no one is stealing your identity
  • FICO score tracker to keep track of your most important credit score at all times

But you’ll also have to pay for a one-time work fee. This is a fee that’s assessed 5-15 days after signing up, and it is for the work that is initially completed by the company. Lexington Law wants to be able to assess your credit to provide you with the best option in credit repair, and this takes some time to complete.

The one-time fee is $99, and I am happy to report that the company does not pressure you into a higher cost tier.
